Aviatrix Films is inspired by the courageous, innovative, and pioneering women who took to the skies in the early days of flight. It was extremely dangerous and required immense skill, determination, and adventurousness, plus a belief in achieving something greater when challenging ideas, expectations, and norms. Behind their bravery and boldness is a unique and personal story as meaningful as the heroism the world knows. We are passionate about storytelling, everything from small in scale to epic.

We want to make a difference in people’s lives. Sometimes that difference will be giving them a giggle or recognising that they aren’t alone, sharing someone else’s perspective with them so they can learn or improve their understanding of an issue or inspiring them to act for social justice and make positive change.

Simone Atallah is the founder of Aviatrix Films and is a filmmaker, producer, writer, television producer, journalist and digital content creator based on Gumbaynggirr country on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales. She has worked for high-calibre organisations such as The Walt Disney Company, the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation), SBS (Special Broadcasting Service), and Network Seven. While at The Walt Disney Company, Simone worked across major campaigns for Disney+, Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, and National Geographic.

At times, Aviatrix Films also has a group of dedicated, talented, and creative screen and arts experts joining us to make the films and screen content that showcase new ideas or encourage audiences to view the world differently.
