Rod O’Hara bought Bellingen Video Connection in 2018 when video stores were already considered dead. Yet, years later, after facing many personal setbacks and against all odds, Rod and the local community keep this bastion for lovers of film and TV alive – but for how long? Return Chute: Survival of a small town video store is a short documentary that tells the story of Rod O’Hara and his store through interviews with Rod, past owners and employees, and passionate and loyal customers trying to keep the store open.
